Today I've established a travel blog to record daily events of our trip to western Russia, and my cycling trip down to Venice, and will be 'tuning it up' in the days to come.

Tue03May2016: Russia Visa arrives

Checked our mailbox this afternoon and found a note from FedEx saying they had a package for me. Went down to their office and picked up the envelope containing passports for Kathy and myself, each stamped with a brand new visa for a single entry to Russia (see attached).
